Puppy Socialization Class
Start your puppy off right and avoid problems down the road. This class is scheduled occasionally. Please use the contact form to express your interest for this class.
Description
Learn what your puppy needs to navigate the world confidently and teach them to play appropriately with both dogs and humans. Includes the key to understanding your dog’s needs and communication (body language), potty training support, social skill development, healthcare handling, and lots of safe play. Registration is ongoing, start anytime for 5 consecutive lessons total.
- Age: 8 – 16 weeks
- No prerequisites
- Pre-registration required
- 1st set of vaccinations required
- 5 classes
Suitable for puppies who are not yet fully vaccinated.
Location: Tynehead Hall, Surrey
According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviour, “Incomplete or improper socialization…can increase the risk of behavioral problems later in life including fear, avoidance, and/or aggression.” View the AVSAB Position Statement for more information.
