We will take every precaution to ensure a positive and safe experience.Training ProtocolWe use positive reinforcement, rather than corrections, so to teach the dog what we want instead of just saying “No!” We stand behind the training methods we use, which are based on the scientific principles of how dogs learn (aka learning theory). From experience we know that, correctly applied, these methods are highly effective. Please note, the individual success of you and your dog depends on your commitment to your dog’s training. Therefore, we cannot guarantee success.Policies:PaymentInvoices are due and payable upon receipt and at or prior to our first session. Payment can be made by e-transfer or cash.Training PackagesEach Training Package is designed to provide your dog with the skills they need to meet your training goals. In order to maintain training momentum lessons should be scheduled every 7-10 days. All lessons in your Training Package must be completed prior to the allocated training period after which they expire. If you encounter extenuating circumstances please contact me ASAP prior to expiry. ● Standard 8 lesson package, 4 months from the first lesson ● Focused 6 lesson package, 3 months from the first lesson Booking LessonsPlease allow 1.5 hours for our first session. All following lessons are 1 hour long. Be sure to book all follow up lessons at once to ensure you find dates and times that work best for you. **Lessons must be booked no more than a week to 10 days apart to ensure we maintain momentum.Behaviour & SafetyWe reserve the right to refuse service to any pet for any reason including, without limitation, if it appears that the pet is sick, injured, in pain, or that its behaviour could jeopardize the health and safety of other pets or our staff. Although we carefully screen all applicants, occasionally we discover that this is not an appropriate service for every dog.
